New strategic collaboration: Copenhagen Changery and Wardn strengthen ESG data in the supply chain

From reporting to relationships: Copenhagen Changery x Wardn

After years of focus on reporting and compliance, the next step for many large companies is to create real insight into - and collaboration across - their value chain. This is where both the greatest risks and the greatest opportunities lie.

Therefore, Copenhagen Changery is now entering into a strategic collaboration with the Danish RegTech startup Wardn.

Together, we combine technology and ESG expertise in a solution that makes it possible to collect, structure and use sustainability data in a way that creates real value - both for large companies and their suppliers.

For most large companies, 70–90% of their CO₂ emissions occur in the supply chain. This is also where maturity often fluctuates the most and complexity typically is greatest. When data collection becomes easier, smarter and more structured, organizations can shift their focus from control to collaboration, innovation and better decisions.

The solution is based on a cluster model, where companies can gradually onboard their suppliers into a common ESG universe - thereby improving transparency, data quality and relationships in the value chain. Instead of each party reporting in their own way in their own Excel sheets, a common structure is created that makes ESG work more efficient, more scalable and far less manual.

“Those companies that manage to create transparency and collaboration in their supply chain are strongest in uncertain times with volatile markets and changing geopolitical situations,” says Amanda Koefoed Simonsen, Partner and ESG Lead.

The collaboration between Copenhagen Changery and Wardn is intended to help companies strengthen coherence in their work with suppliers, ESG data and sustainability reporting - while at the same time freeing up resources for innovation, product development and strategic improvements.

Thanks to the entire team at Wardn - we look forward to putting this collaboration into play!
