We are proud to announce the launch of the Centre of Excellence for Scenario Analysis (COESA), a joint initiative between Copenhagen Changery and Basinghall Analytics.
COESA was created to provide clarity and resilience in an era defined by complexity. At its core lies scenario analysis — not as a way to predict the future, but as a discipline for exploring possibilities, testing assumptions, and translating data into resilient strategies.
Structural trends are putting pressure on long-term viability.
We need to build more robustness into strategies and business models - and solutions for not only managing risks but capturing opportunities and navigating uncertainty!
— Amanda Koefoed Simonsen, Partner and ESG & Sustainability Lead at Copenhagen Changery.

Scenario analysis is increasingly taking centre stage in these times of uncertainty. We are seeing a demand for multi-dimensional scenarios - integrating many risk types - and to shift focus towards resilience rather than on prediction.
— Dr. Nasir M. Ahmad, Managing Partnerm and Scenario Analysis Lead at
Basinghall Analytics.
By combining quantitative modelling with strategic insight, COESA supports organisations in navigating climate risk, financial volatility, regulatory change, and geopolitical disruption. With Nordic roots and London connectivity, the centre draws on expertise across finance, sustainability, regulation, technology, and AI to help decision-makers prepare for the future with confidence.
COESA is more than a technical platform. It is a collaborative space where foresight and excellence meet, designed to help banks, corporates, and public institutions move from reactivity to preparation — and from uncertainty to informed, reliable decision-making.
We look forward to engaging with partners, clients, and peers as we begin this important journey.
